Roblox is a platform containing many creator-published experiences. A teammate who can run Roblox may still be unable to access the same experience on the same device.
Name the exact experience
Use the current experience title and describe the planned activity. If a title is easy to confuse with another experience, add the creator name without pretending the creator endorses the session.
Check device publishing
Roblox supports desktop, mobile, console, and Meta Quest access, but creators choose supported devices and controls for their experiences. Roblox's PlayStation FAQ specifically notes that experiences published for console are available there and may have different controls.
Explain the server plan
- Public matchmaking, a reserved/private server, or joining a friend
- Any in-experience level or onboarding requirement
- How many spots are genuinely open
- Whether voice or text communication is expected and appropriate
Keep account access private
A public LFG post should never request passwords, session cookies, recovery codes, or payment. Use Roblox's account and joining features to connect after compatibility is clear.
